With ZamZuu, I wanted to take their e-commerce platform to a completely new level. Focusing our efforts on increasing sales, we created a platform with more functionality, easier navigation for the customer, and a simplified user interface. Our goal was to increase sales, and that’s exactly what we did. This was further accomplished with a bold social media strategy being kicked off during the holiday shopping season, and it paid off. ZamZuu’s sales figures more than doubled for the weekend of Black Friday as compared to the same weekend one year prior. In fact, we had over 127,000 post views during our Black Friday campaign on our ZamZuu Dealz page on Facebook.

Even after the Black Friday campaign, sales continued to stay high. Our Affiliate store sales in December were $1,194,513 versus only $568,215 the year before. This represented a 210% increase year over year.

With Affiliate store sales soaring, we were thrilled but that wasn’t our primary goal. ZamZuu offers a line of products from vendors they call Featured Stores. Our sales people earn higher commissions when they sell these products versus any affiliate network stores. In the process of redesigning our e-commerce platform, we placed greater emphasis on the placement of these stores. As we anticipated, our featured stores sales increased as well. On an annual basis, ZamZuu sold $1,371,078 in Featured Products generating an estimated $653,675 in commissions.

Sub-Brands

YTB Marketing business initiatives demanded that ZamZuu rapidly expand into popular online shopping market segments. To support this, the ZamZuu e-commerce platform held home to many sub-branded products and services. By integrating these into the ZamZuu ecosystem, immediate benefits were gained; it excelled at supporting brand continuity, simplicity, shared support systems, and shared back-end systems. Doing this kept overhead to a minimum while increasing the bottom line and offering increased value to store owners.


ZMobile

Zmobile was a lead capture system which allowed business owners to build and expand their consumer network through automated text messaging systems.

ZamTek

ZamTek was ZamZuu’s premier high-tech product and service outlet; from home entertainment services to high-end electronics.

Z4life

Z4life was ZamZuu’s health and fitness brand. This outlet was used primarily to support the sales of Daily Z and ExZilarate.
